How FAAB Transactions WorkFree agent acquisition budget
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| The Budget | Every manager starts the season with $100 in FAAB (Free Agent Acquisition Budget). It's a season-long pool, not a weekly refresh — spend it wisely. |
| Blind Bidding | To claim a free agent, submit a bid using your remaining FAAB dollars. Bids are blind, you won't see what anyone else offers. |
| Highest Bid Wins | Whoever bids the most for a player gets them, and that amount is deducted from their budget. Losing bids cost nothing, only the winning bid is spent. |
| $0 Bids Are Allowed | You can bid $0 if you want a shot at a player without spending anything. Ties on identical bids are broken by waiver priority. |
| Running Out of FAAB | Once your budget hits $0, you can still claim free agents, but only if no one else bids on them. |
| FAAB in Trades | FAAB dollars can also be traded away or acquired directly, see the Rules page for the full trade rules. |
