How FAAB Transactions WorkFree agent acquisition budget
TopicDetails
The BudgetEvery manager starts the season with $100 in FAAB (Free Agent Acquisition Budget). It's a season-long pool, not a weekly refresh — spend it wisely.
Blind BiddingTo claim a free agent, submit a bid using your remaining FAAB dollars. Bids are blind, you won't see what anyone else offers.
Highest Bid WinsWhoever bids the most for a player gets them, and that amount is deducted from their budget. Losing bids cost nothing, only the winning bid is spent.
$0 Bids Are AllowedYou can bid $0 if you want a shot at a player without spending anything. Ties on identical bids are broken by waiver priority.
Running Out of FAABOnce your budget hits $0, you can still claim free agents, but only if no one else bids on them.
FAAB in TradesFAAB dollars can also be traded away or acquired directly, see the Rules page for the full trade rules.
